After several years if being inactive, I have decided to get back on the air. Upgraded to a General Class License[10-20-03].

Working to get a personalized Veteran plate that has my call sign. [Example above].
I spent 9-years (1964-1973) in US Army Signal Corps as a Microwave Radio Repairman (SP6 when discharged).

Presently shopping for a good 10-40 meter Vertical antenna: Cushcraft MA5V, Hustler 5-BTV(on the right) and MFJ-1796 are being considered.

For a Transceiver: ALNICO, ICOM and KENWOOD units are being reviewed.

I selected W7PYS as my vanity call because my BBS and Internet presence has always been under the Pysmatic name. [Pysmatic: 8-28-03 on AllTheWeb.com was 13,587 hits!]
